Energy Management
Reducing energy use is one of the fastest ways to cut emissions and operating costs. We support organisations to implement ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems, ensuring energy is measured, monitored and improved. For organisations who must comply with ESOS (Energy Management Opportunities Scheme), we can help them implement an EnMS (Energy Management System) that will provide an easy route to compliance.
We work alongside clients to build energy systems that reflect real operational needs. A long-standing example is Sonardyne and their group company Covelya, where we helped develop an Energy Management System (EnMS) for their UK operations to meet ISO 50001. The original system was created for the 2011 Standard and later enhanced to meet the 2018 requirements.
While the EnMS was initially implemented to support ESOS, the benefits have since gone much further, including:

Carbon Verification & Reporting
Our work in energy management has helped us develop a clear understanding of carbon impacts and being one of the first to help a company to be verified to the standard of ISO 14068 Carbon Neutrality. We are currently working with several key customers to support their transition towards Net Zero.
Understanding carbon emissions is critical to building credible Net Zero strategies. We provide independent carbon verification services, helping organisations report their Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions with confidence.
